Chief Cyber Security Scientist
CurrentI am currently a Chief Research Scientist that focuses the scientific exploration and execution of cyber security research and creating novel security solutions for transfer to industry. This involves designing and operating cyber-physical testbeds for controlled repeatable experiments. I also research applications of cyber security to industrial control systems including network security and protocols, key management, and resilient distributed control. I have an entrepreneurial passion for generating innovative ideas and nurturing them until they ready for commercialization. I am the author of the "Research Methods for Cyber Security" textbook.I am also an adjunct professor at Washington State University where I teach Cyber Security courses. I am the vice chair of IEEE 1711 part 2 standard.
