I’m responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the vessel's machinery and equipment. I oversee the engineering department and am responsible for ensuring that all machinery and equipment are in good working order, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed. I’m also responsible for ensuring that the vessel complies with all applicable regulations and industry standards related to engineering operations. I work closely with the vessel's captain and other departments to ensure that the vessel operates smoothly and efficiently, and am responsible for managing and training the engineering department crew.
