Manages volunteers and interns alike. Coordinates and consults with the candidate (Rebecca Kassay) on campaign matters. Assists in organizing campaign events and works with community outreach.

Internship involves research, client communication, note-taking, and gets me out and about in the city attending a multitude of events

I was elected to this role on the platform of getting students outside and engaged in clubs and organizations which was sorely needed after the effects of COVID. As my own Director of Sustainability I have spearheaded different projects in the field including a stream cleanup and I am currently planning a microplastics study at the Rice Creek Field Station and working towards implementing sustainable landscaping practices on campus. As President I manage a diverse Board of Directors and help them pursue projects related to the Activities of the Student Association. I am also responsible for serving on numerous different committee including the Campus Community Relations Committee, College Council, etc. One of the most important boards I serve on is Auxiliary Services which is responsible from everything from managing the college stores to ensuring the diverse selection of meals available to students at the dining halls.

I had assumed the position after the original DOF was removed from office. My responsibilities included: reviewing contracts for major and minor events, reviewing and approving POs and fundraising applications, and forming and heading Budget Council which is responsible for managing the $1 million plus budget to ensure contracts are fulfilled and clubs/organizations receive appropriate funding to allow them to function.

I had worked at this position during my summer (May-September) and winter (December-January) breaks. In this position I processed property taxes, assessed whether or not they were placed on lie nor had the deed taken, and investigated then recorded relevant information regarding different properties. I had originally only intended to work at this position for the summer but after the county had suffered a cyber attack I returned to help out as much as I could, which included research and data entry.
