After the acquisition of “Biofor” from E.ON, a part company producing, importing and selling biogas, I was involved in the migration of financial systems, processes and reporting. This task was not done overnight, it required time and forging to eventually get systems and reporting to required standards. Somewhere in the process I went from working in this project to working full time with Biogas, learning all about the business, the risks, about gas, and most important learning from inspiring and bright new colleagues. For me it was truly inspiring to work in such an environment. The aim was to quickly grow the new gas business through investments and acquisitions, and I developed a lot of experience in:M&A’s, Valuations and Financial modelling. Personally, there was also a great learning in migrating a new company into our current ERP-system, reporting systems, and taking the company in to our current auditors.
