Eisenhardt has 40 years of experience as a modern dancer and as a choreographer has created about 40 full-length dance performances. He has developed performances in close cross-aesthetic collaboration with, for example, musicians and composers, visual artists and landscape architects, poets and physicists. He has performed intensively with various Danish companies and during improvised performances in collaboration with other arts. He co-founded Aaben Dans in 1997, from which he has since produced his performances. In 2008, Aaben Dans got the status of being, at that time, the only regional theater with dance as expression.In 2007, he created his first set for young audiences. At that time, he began his fruitful collaboration with director and visual artist Catherine Poher. Subsequently, the artist duo has created several pieces for all age groups from 6 months to adults. Their award-winning performances have attracted international attention and toured Europe, Scandinavia and the Far East. The productions have played in as many different places as Store Scene at Skuespilhuset / Det Kgl. Theater for a bicycle cellar in a social housing building on the outskirts of Roskilde.In his work of opening and expanding dance as a form of expression and instrument, he has, together with Aaben Dans, developed the concepts ´popular avant-garde' and 'Dance from cradle to grave'.During the period 1981-1984, Eisenhardt - in addition to performing and teaching at various international choreographers and dancers in Copenhagen - studied at Niels Herman Wamberg's painting school. From 1985–1989 he trained daily classical ballet with Ralph Grant, alongside contemporary, new dance and contact improvisation at Dansens Hus, Copenhagen and occasional studies in London and New York. From 1986-1991 Alexander Technique by Joseph Artzi and Shoshana Kaminitz. From 1997 - 2007 Klein Teknik continues with Barbara Mahler and Susan Klein.In relation to dance, Eisenhardt has experience with Zen meditation, Feldenkrais and Stanislavsky techniques. In 2001 he studied landscape and garden architecture at the Royal College of Art. Veterinary and Agricultural College in Denmark.Eisenhardt was from 1999 - 2003 chairman of the board of directors of 3DK, The Association of the Danish dance companies. From 1995 - 2008 member of the faculty of SMD (School of Modern Dance in Denmark) teaching improvisation. From 2014 - 2017 member of Reimbursement Committee at the Danish Arts Council. Present member board member at Dansehallerne, CPH and vice chairman of the board of Aarhus Teater.
