Pipeline site was one that stood out. This entailed Inspecting sidewalks across Windsor checking for deficiencies using different surveying tools• Inputted sidewalk inspection sheets into the City of Windsor’s asset data base• Repainted previous sidewalk deficiencies that were not fixed from previous inspection programs• Took inventory of the entire City of Windsor’s Public Works office• Used the corporate EIS system to get information such as addresses, size of sewer pipes, and distances across Windsor• Drove a City of Windsor vehicle everyday to different site locations across Windsor filling with gas whenever low• Filed sidewalk inspection sheets after they were inputted into the City of Windsor’s asset data base• Planned inspection routes and scheduled ahead for myself as well as the other co-op student so that we complete our assigned projects on time• Communicated to several junior and senior engineers about ongoing projects that the City of Windsor was working on as well as communicated with residents of the City of Windsor in an orderly manor

• Assisted in the surveying process of county roads by confirming elevation of water main trenches, examined grade of road base, granular A, granular B and took distance measurements • Verified inspection of construction sites by filling out several safety tasks cards, made sure workers compacted sand base, checked temperature of asphalt, ensured depth of newly poured asphalt• Performed calculations for cover material overtop water main pipe• Calculated slope between different reference points on a road for an engineering drawing• Archived files and organized file room• Counted traffic at 5-way intersection• Worked over 40-hour weeks
