About Thomas Ellerton

I am the Technical Manager at the Urban Transport Group, who bring together and promotes the interests of Britain's largest city regions on transport.I have managed a number of reports and projects for us, and have lead on the development of our data hub, the update to the Metropolitan Bus Model, and the development of a reverse journey matching algorithm. I lead our work on active travel, and represent us on a number of national transport groups.Before this I completed a PhD in the Town and Regional Planning Department at the University of Sheffield. This explored the impact of national urban regeneration policy at the local level, using case study research in Liverpool.
