Supervised fleet and warehouse operations for the second largest manufacturing and distribution site in North America. Responsible for nationwide deliveries to 12 internal customer warehouses in the lower 48 United States. Clinic and home patient sphere of delivery being 13 western states including Alaska and Hawaii, operating with a network of 4 cross docks. 2011 winner of the prestigious President’s Award for excellence along with 2011 Most Innovative Distribution Center Award. Founded and was named the national manager for an Owner Operator program reducing transportation costs by 14%. Recruited, trained, supervised a national resupply/back haul network. Piloted an in house training program for pharmacist designees, eliminating tremendous outside training costs. Identified resupply opportunities using in house equipment to resupply and deliver in the lower 48 states. Initiated a new backhaul program utilizing company trucks which realized an 8K monthly increase to our operating income. Piloted energy savings lighting program with Rocky Mountain Power with an initial investment of 110K. Rocky Mountain rebated 60K and dropped our electric bill from 102K annually to 65K. ROI just over one year. Selected by management to identify new on boarding systems for our vehicles and for integration to our IT department. This opportunity exposed me to learning XATA, Peoplenet, SAP, ADC, TripMaster, Moblecast, Peoplesoft. Certified in Project Management as well as Lean Leader and Six Sigma yellow belt.
