Following my senior year of high school would conduct my advance individual training to become a Combat Engineer. In addition to learning basic skills such as rifle marksmanship, tactical combat casualty care, drill and ceremony being a Combat Engineer trained in conducting combat missions such as constructing bridges, creating and destroying barriers, explosives, and mine detection, avoidance and clearance. Would spend May through October of 2010 training to get certified to mobilize in support of combat operations.Operation Enduring Freedom - Kandahar and Helmand province Afghanistan - 2010 through 2011Due to high attention to detail, intelligence and computer know-how was pulled into the tactical operations center (TOC) in a route clearance company. During my time in Afghanistan, I would take lead in the Company Intelligence Support Team (CoIST). Within this role I would work between higher echelon command the route clearance patrols ensuring higher headquarters had up to date information on the battlefield and ensure the route clearance patrols know up to date intelligence of the area. In addition, I would network across internal forces such as the Afghans, Canadians, British, Australian, and Polish to get intelligence directly from their forces. I would analyze historical significant activity, man-made and geographical obstacles as well as human intention to accurately assess and predict the situation on the battlefield. In addition to operating and leading the CoIST cell would assist in operations. I would assist in planning, coordinating conducting operations across many battle space owners to include other branches and multi-national forces. Post Afghanistan would continue maintaining soldier skills as well as developing new soldiers within a reserve capacity. -

Worked on a franchise within the construction and real estate industry vertical. In this role would expand insurance coverages from automobile and other personal lines coverage to all aspects in the commercial policies. I was and still maintain a Wisconsin Agent License. Would review recently bound or renewed policies to ensure the policy matched the quote, proposal and had no gaps in coverage. Claims AdjusterSedgwick Feb 2019 - Nov 2019UsIn this role would conduct cradle to grave claim handing for the physical damages of the Amazon delivery services automobile policies across all continental US states. I would conduct the investigation to the facts of loss with all parties involve, in addition to using other resources like policy reports and physical damages to determine liability. Review state statutes to determine the next course and action and ensure the claim handling process met that state's legal standard. During the investigation period would also need to review the facts of loss with the insurance policy to make a coverage determination. I would monitor the repair process for vehicles determined repairable in respect to reviewing and approving repair estimates and ensuring both claimants and insureds alike had a rental vehicle that met state and policy legal standings to provide. If a vehicle was determined a total loss, work with parties to determine if they wanted to retain or surrender the vehicle and negotiate and settle the value of the vehicle for payment. For claims with injury I would conduct early settlement offers, if needed would assist the bodily injury adjustor with facts of loss and fact gathering. Develop key relationships with; carrier partners, Amazon personnel, fleet managers of large multi state contractors. In addition to handling the claim workload would also assist with training new team members. This training would include preparing for licensing tests to using the claim system to how to handle certain situations.In this role would study for and pass three state adjustors exams (North Carolina, Arizona and New York) and be an licensed adjustor in a majority of the 48 continental states. -

During this time worked with two senior insurance professionals who expanded my knowledge and skill set on the insurance process from binding through claims and coverage.
