My career has had two parallel paths, both industry-based and academic. This advantage has allowed me to adopt relevant industry experience into my academic research to further develop theory; and use established theoretical models to enhance understanding of industry systems, processes and strategic planning. This has given me a unique career-foundation with the ability to implement theoretical and practical solutions to solve work related issues within management, sales & marketing, strategic planning, academic research, business development, cross-cultural negotiations and engineering. Furthermore, this eclectic background has permitted me to educate and share my knowledge with industry leaders at academic institutions in Norway, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Australia on a university level and within management and engineering organizations relating to the construction and oil & gas industry.
