- Interim professional supported via DPA B.V.- In a relative short time I fulfilled the duties covering two separate roles. I started in the role as Regional IBP Lead EMEA in which I was responsible for the long term (≥ 3 months) planning forecast in the EMEA region. Furthermore, I took ownership of the Statistical Forecasting project to include forecasting via various statistical models as benchmark to 1) improve forecasting accuracy, 2) improve forecasting bias, and 3) reduce stringent workload. Subsequently, I was responsible for the short term planning and the adherence to the demand plan (1 – 3 months) at a global scope in the role as Global Demand Execution Manager. Balancing allocated volumes across global regions considering various parameters and by being the interdisciplinary link by incorporating various stakeholders.

The report was written according to the Lean Six Sigma Methodology were the DMAIC-principle worked as a general guideline. A plan of action was written to hedge the foreign exposed cash flow operations of transaction, translation and economic risk and to enhance the inventory turnover ratio, inventory period and return on investment. My graduation thesis was rewarded with one of the highest grades in the International Finance specialization group and savings up to 16% in the inventory section could be realized. A break-even chart illustrated at what point a variety set of derivatives became interesting investing in based on quarter and annual sales forecasts.
