Currently posted in Geneva, I am working part time as an Emergency Medicine physician (Geneva University Hospital, HUG) and part time as a researcher and trainer in Health Professions Education and Simulation (University of Geneva School of Medicine, Development and Research Unit in medical Education, Simulation Center).Trained as an Internal medicine & Intensive care physician, I fully engage my diagnostic, decision-making and team-management skills in challenging situations, at the bedside, in the classroom and in projects management. During my Master and PhD studies in Public health, I learnt how to use both quantitative and qualitative methods to explore complex physicians’ decisions near the end of life. I am now studying further clinical and ethical reasoning in Advance Care Planning. My objectives at Geneva teaching Hospital and University are to develop further my clinical skills and to contribute as an active team member to the innovative project of Geriatric Emergency Department. Meanwhile, I am looking forward to developing international research collaboration in Health Professions Education (HPEd) and Simulation in the field of clinical reasoning and end-of-life decision-making for the critically elderly.
