As a Senior Buyer, I am responsible for the identification and selection of suppliers to procure chemicals and other materials, meeting criteria such as assurance of supply, service, cost, quality, regulatory compliance and responsible sourcing. I manage and execute all steps of the strategic sourcing process including: developing RFPs, negotiating with suppliers, conducting bid analysis, and making supplier recommendations.
