Responsible for all elements of the monthly close as it relates to overall North American trade investment, including processing and analysis of the Accelerate Trade accrual, monitoring and reconciliation of Unconditional allowances and reconciliation and aging of all balance sheet accounts.•Perform trade investment analysis by customer and brand, isolating current activities, YTD trends, potential risks and upsides to published expectations.•Generate and support monthly NSD Outlook process. •Support Financial Forecast process of extracting trade rates from Accelerate, reviewing for reasonableness, uploading into TM1. Perform analyses vs Prior Forecasts.•Improve Accelerate data integrity by performing customer field audits, generating non-compliance reports and providing corrective training to non-compliant users. •Support the annual customer target setting and attainment process.•Support key improvement/implementation and manage functionality and usage of financial trade systems such as Accelerate, TM1, Global IMEX scorecard, AMEDME, ROI Tool, etc.•Maintain positive and proactive interaction with Sales and Customer/Category Finance Management to ensure ongoing exchange of quality financial information.•Support all aspects of monitoring, reporting and forecasting of sales overhead, including Broker bonus payments.

• Review all financial and operating results on a period basis. Communicate any financial or operational concerns with variety of stakeholders including executive team, board of directors, creditors and investors.• Plan and supervise interim and year-end audit engagements for preparation of annual certified financial statements in conjunction with outside auditors• Prepare audited draft financials on mentioned subsidiaries• Responsible for budgeting, capital budgeting, forecasting, compliance of financial covenants, project tracking, benchmarking, and general ledger.• Prepare debt covenant ratios to the executive team and creditors to prove compliance or non-compliance • Prepare monthly financial packages for lenders and creditors • Provide ongoing training for new and existing employees • Interface with outside accounting firm in the preparation of Federal and State Tax Returns.
