Project management of technology appraisals programme, including portfolio of approx. 20-25 evaluations at any one time, planning and facilitating delivery of national guidance to the NHS to time and quality, and ensuring due process. Key point of contact, coordinating internal staff and external input from a wide range of stakeholders, including pharma companies, patients, clinicians and commissioners, academic groups and professional organisations.Review operational procedures, identify areas for improvement and oversee implementation of changes. Representing the team with internal and external stakeholders, influencing decision making. Developing and improving processes.

Planning and co-ordinating clinical guideline development, timeline development, progress monitoring, being a key contact point, maintaining webpages.

Broad role working across the MRC's Strategy Group in International Strategy and Evaluation with their directors and the Chief of Strategy.Planning and preparing for the biannual Heads of International (Biomedical) Research Organisations (HIROs) meetings, including preparing the chief executives brief for the events.Working on grant proposals managing the peer review process for applications. Liaison for RCUK overseas offices in China, India and the USA, managing and reporting on finances.
