Currently leading the Reporting and RAID of schemes within the Energy Affordability portfolio PMO at the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero (DESNZ). I implement agile best practice, establishing processes to enhance and standardise closedown consistency and quality, overseeing core assurance points, leading teams in their project closedown activities, shaping the closure risk landscape and strengthening directorate project delivery capabilities. Recently, I have also expertly managed risk profiling and RAID for the Energy Price Guarantee project, effectively communicating potential challenges, impacts, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders at all levels to ensure project success within schedule and budget. I am an experienced and dedicated Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering successful programmes and events for global, high-profile and cross-sector organisations; with a solid track record in event planning, successful project delivery, expertise in risk management, and application of my marketing skills. I am confident and enthusiastic in my ability to make valuable contributions to teams, and eager to take on new challenges and apply my multiple levels of expertise to every new opportunity. Whilst employed at the Department for International Trade in the World Events team, I’ve supported global organisations in the trade and export of their goods and services, strengthening relationships with international stakeholders and supporting their supply-chain requirements to aid in the promotion of the UK. I've used a robust and dynamic understanding of Agile Project Management through event management to successfully deliver a large portfolio of government-leading, global projects to accomplish cross-HMG objectives. I’ve also developed effective communication and marketing strategies to support the planning and implementation of projects across DIT through both my role in the Business Events team leading international trade shows, and through my role in World Events. My most significant project to date was supporting the planning and delivery of Expo 2020 Dubai through development of UK National Day on 10/02/2022.
