Narture CIC is a social enterprise based in Ayr town centre that focuses on regenerating urban coastal spaces through art. As project manager, I have:• Overseen the expansion of the project into new sites within Ayr town centre, successful in diversifying funding streams and maximising social output.• Experience bid writing, managing budgets, coordinating public consultation events, recruiting and training staff/volunteers.• Developed and executed business strategies to tight deadlines, successful in driving seasonal dependent business towards sustainable income generation via wholesale distribution and targeting methods.• Created and implemented prioritisation tools to aid in multi-attribute decision-making through ranking models.

Liverpool

The only paid worker within the organisation, working in an administrative/project management role linking three institutions together. The Liverpool Institute for Sustainable Coasts and Oceans (LISCO) combines the coastal, marine and maritime expertise of the National Oceanography Centre, the University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University. The Institute brings together natural scientists, social scientists and engineers to meet the challenges of a changing ocean and changing coastal societies.With LISCO my work entailed:• Split project management, administration and communications role, responsible for the recruitment and coordination of members across three respectable institutions. • Experience building and maintaining networks both nationally through LISCO and globally through the Marine Spatial Planning Research Network (MSPRN). • Responsible for the creation and lead administration of both online (webinars/hosted talks) and in person events (workshops, meetings, lectures) for academics distributed globally.
