Af Cyberspace Defense Lead Operator
Directs up to 12 Gateway Research Analysts for 40 hours of near-real-time monitoring of the Air Force’s ArcSight Intrusion Detection System (IDS).• Coordinates with system technicians on equipment issues affecting G2G and IOP operations.• Answers requests for information from the Crew Commander and other squadron offices.• Performs quality checks on investigation initiation before Research analysts initiated the reports.• Reviews existing blocks on suspicious IP addresses. Coordinates modifications as necessary.• Reviews existing cases on CDS and GOP for changes in current status.• Reviews/updates n progress IMS/IOP Investigations for changes and updates to status.• Trains new analysts on IOP/IMS and Fidelis threats• Accomplishes mission reports; detailing results and statistics of NIPR CAP mission.• Performs DCO Mission• Creates daily Sensor status report for Sensor Tech’sManages and maintains Arcsight temp filters for omitted traffic.
