Represented the UK in EU institutions across different financial services dossiers before and after the UK referendum on EU membership. Led and supported negotiating teams within Council and European Parliament on a broad range of legislative proposals, including the Prospectus and Securitisation Regulations; European System of Financial Supervision Review; Investment Firm Review; and Sustainable Finance.Supported pre and post legislative work on the Payments Services Directive II, asset management rules, Motor Insurance Directive, and FinTech.Establsihed working relationships with Member States, EU institutions, third countries and industry.

Worked closely with the Director, HoDs and Managers to deliver Divisional supervisory and operational objectives. Responsible for day-to-day running of Retail Lending Director Office. Prepared Director for duties and decision-making, quality-controlled submissions and papers, dealt with external correspondence and MPs Letters, managed Director’s diary.Led team which organised the FCA’s 2015 Mortgage Conference, attended by ~200 industry delegates.
