Throughout my career, I worked in softwares companies (Cartesis, BusinessObjects and SAP) as quality analyst on the software Magnitude, later becoming BFC or SAP Financial Consolidation. I acquired expertise on the software settings, while also getting deep in-view skills in quality management in IT.I moved on to the customer side taking on the responsability of group administrator on SAP Financial Consolidation for the renewable energy group EDF Energies Nouvelles, subsidiary of French group EDF. I was the sole contributor, fully in charge of all issues, requests and collaboration with both Finance and IT teams. After 2 years, I was offered to integrate the IT team as both SAP Financial Consolidation administrator, but also taking parts on the newly deployed ERP SAP R4, as well as the HR solution. I was able to get technical skills on SAP ERP (creating users, idocs follow-up) as well as operational ones (creating and managing purchase and selling orders).I then changed business domain as I integrated Coface, a leading French credit insurer. I took on the responsability of SAP Financial Consolidation in a larger group, with greater requirements both on regulatory and business sides. That involved constant teamwork with a coworker and with all of the Finance departments in an international environment (more than 30 different countries across the globe). That provided me with greater expertise on SAP Financial Consolidation, better understanding of financial processes and rules and project management skills.After 3 successful years, I was rewarded with a position of manager of financial software team. I now have people in charge, working on accounting software, reporting solutions and SAP Financial Consolidation. Thus adding management skills to the more technical ones. I am fully in charge of budgeting for my applications, managing consulting needs and answering to users whenever required.
