I am once again working with Tellmi (formerly MeeToo) to create trusted peer communities where the unwell, worried, confused or curious can safely share effective support, when and where they need it.I will be making use of my background in teaching to help the formation of new services designed to support people working within education.

I worked as a science teacher for year 7 to year 10. In addition to this I held the pastoral role of tutor and supported a cohort of thirty year 7s with a complex variety of needs. I consistently worked to foster an inclusive environment and am applied my degree and previous work in metal health to accomplish this.

I completed this course with high firsts in research and psychological modules. Since completion of this course I have been invited back to speak at the annual health conference.

I worked on the app for 3 months as the first Super Peer, providing support and advice to users aged 13-24. Using this experience I then developed the SuperPeer Training Manual, which has now been used to train over 50 volunteers. During the spring term I ran sessions for year 1 students covering difficult topics in Biopsychology. In these sessions I facilitated group discussion and boosted engagement to ensure all members were involved in the learning. I provided support to new Reading students on the University’s Future learning course. This allowed me to help the incoming students with their transition and to calm some of their worries with the change.
