Information technology is a critical component of business operations. Technology can impact the customer experience, it can enhance productivity and efficiency, it can boost internal and external communication, it can protect critical information and it can generate additional revenue. Whether I am planning and leading implementation projects, overseeing the providers of Tier 1 to 3 tech support on classified and unclassified networks or serving as system administrator, I strive to achieve all of these benefits through technology. In IT, our customers must come first. When we design systems and roll out projects, we must evaluate customer needs and requirements before proceeding, it is important that IT not operate in a vacuum without customer interaction. I accomplish this with effective communication and end-user education skills. I can comfortably converse with stakeholders and end-users at all levels of technical expertise. This allows me to clearly assess their needs and develop actionable solutions. However, once those solutions are deployed, it is important for the users to understand how to effectively use the technology.
