Key responsibilities included the assisting in Physical Education lesson for pupils ages 11-14 and GSCE lessons for pupils aged 14-16, in addition to managing pupils learning to ensure progression when a colleagues were absent. I had a key lead role in the collection and production of 5th form (Year 11) practical Physical Education course work in accordance with the Cambridge IGCSE syllabus. Providing a high quality of teaching to match curricular objectives and the range of pupils needs, and ensure equal opportunity for all pupils at a local primary school. I was expected to deliver a high level of coaching to senior sport teams (3rd team Rugby, 1st team Football & Girls Football), I also ran a football session for 1st-3rd form pupils for an extra curriculum activity and provided additional football coaching sessions to colt teams. I assisted the Director of Sport and Head of Junior Games to ensure the smooth running of junior sport, I also managed and coached a junior sport team in all of the school’s major sports (Rugby, Hockey & Cricket). I offered administrative support to all respective head's of sport, as well as producing a weekly sport Programme for visiting staff and parents. I was also responsible for carrying out pastoral care in the boys’s boarding house I was affiliated with, as well as supervise extra curricular activities including Junior and Senior Clubs on a rota basis on Saturdays and 3rd form actives on Sundays. I was required to liaise effectively with parents and host visiting opposition.

Camp Northwood is a socially supportive seven-week summer program for a high functioning population of young adults on the autism spectrum. I was a Camps Counsellor for 2 summers; I was responsible for the pastoral care and supporting the 7 campers who I shared a cabin with. I had to take them to meals and made sure they maintained a good standard of personal hygiene. I would be on duty in the cabin overnight 3 nights a week, where I would have to make sure all campers were in bed and remained in their beds throughout the night. My roles throughout the day was to assist two campers with their English and Numeracy tasks during an hour of academic work each morning and then leading activities such as; football, swimming, sailing, kayaking and fishing. In week 5 we had a day which was known as "Parents’ Day" where parents were invited in to see their children and liaise with Counsellors on how the campers had developed their social skills, independence and self-esteem.
