SNMP exposes management data in the form of variables on the managed systems, which describe the system configuration. These variables can then be queried (and sometimes set) by managing applications.
Systems Engineer

Responsible for ensuring development, integration, test, and assembly of the Navy MUOS project ground stations including satellite command and control, ground transport/gateways and network management interface verification. • Lead point of contact in the Ka-Band Team for base-to-user integration and testing.• Lead test engineer for Ka-Band Team Telemetry, Tracking and Command subsystem functions.• Verification & Validation processes to ensure end-to-end system integration, functional qualification tests, and final assembly. • Review and identify segment level software and hardware specifications and standards related to segment interfaces.• Responsible for a wide range of WCDMA infrastructure to satellite ground station integration, system development, and testing.• Support all technical and program requirements for Critical Design Review and other major milestone activities.• Lead point of contact for software based radio network controller emulator.• Create and present test procedures to customers and support customer reviews and acceptance.• Responsible for ensuring schedule status and updates with the customer on a weekly/monthly basis as required.• Responsibilities include developing appropriate integration test strategies, plans, cases, and identifying Site requirements.• Perform test development, data review and costumer sell-off of detailed Earth Terminal procedures• Worked on diverse engineering analysis teams to develop, maintain and operate an engineering and analysis environment for satellite control in the MUOS Satellite Control Facilities.
