I am a trained biologist who followed in my father's footsteps into the commercial fishing field. Seeing the shrinking opportunities of traditional fishing I pursued a degree in Aquaculture. After spending a few years in academia I returned to my commercial roots in the cleanest water on the East Coast growing millions of clams and oysters in the Virginia Coast Reserve. Here on the Eastern Shore we produce succulent shellfish, fight for preservation of the environment, provide employment in economically depressed areas, and preserve traditional Foodways of the region.Sound good?
