Thomas E. Garrison is a First Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for SunTrust Now Truist in Richmond, Virginia, where he the senior servicing attorney providing support to the Escrow, Loan Administration, Cashiering, Lien Release and Investor Relations departments. He also supported the Loss Mitigation, Foreclosure. Real Estate Owned and Collection departments for 3 years. Prior to joining SunTrust in January 2009, Eric was an attorney with the Default Management Legal Service Center for Citicorp Credit Services, Inc. and provided legal advice related to collections, loss mitigation, foreclosures, bankruptcy and default related legislation. During his six years with Citi, Eric also served as an attorney with CitiFinancial, Inc. (now OneMain), its consumer finance company located in Baltimore, Maryland. Prior to joining Citi, Eric was servicing attorney for First Nationwide Mortgage Corporation in Frederick, Maryland. He began his financial services legal career with The Federal Land Bank of Columbia, Columbia, South Carolina, which later became AgFirst Farm Credit Bank after three years in private law practice in Durham, North Carolina.
