I am a Doctor of Public Health and Medical Anthropologist with 25 years of experience in international cooperation. Since 2020 I have been working as an independent consultant in the fields of monitoring, evaluation, impact measurement, knowledge management, programme development and public health. One of my current mandates is monitoring, evaluation and impact measurement for the Swiss NGO Alliance Sufosec. In my last employment position at the Swiss Red Cross (until 2020), I led a team of internal consultants in the areas of health, disaster risk reduction, and monitoring and evaluation. Prior to that, I managed health programmes for Swiss NGOs with a focus on sub-Saharan Africa. My doctoral thesis at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine was a mixed methods study on adherence to antiretroviral treatment in Zimbabwe.
