Worked with leading knowledge institutes in Flanders and seasoned product and software developers.Co-inventor on several patents and published many scientific articles as author and co-author in international peer-reviewed journals. Presented at numerous national and international conferences.Taken up activities in sales, marketing and business development. RegMed XB stands for Regenerative Medicine Crossing Borders. A virtual institute of Dutch and Belgian public (universities and governments) and private (health foundations and companies) partners that work together to develop regenerative medicine solutions to health challenges. Being active for three years within the Kidney Moonshot of RegMed XB. Aiming at developing the first subunit of a bioengineered kidney as ultimate treatment for patients undergoing chronic kidney failure. Responsible for setting up all iPSC culture techniques and kidney organoid generation protocols (including multiple renal lineage differentiations) at the MERLN Institute, Maastricht University. Supervising numerous doctoral students and contributed to several ambitious projects, both internally as externally.
