Project Leader – Automotive Body-In-White Assembly – Renault Talisman (Lfd/Kfd)
- Head of 5 qualified technicians. In charge of BiW doors assembly lines design/start-up from study phase until approval for vehicle’s mass production (serial life) Scope : Front face fastening, Fenders, Hood, Lateral's doors, Trunk (sedan), Tailgate (station wagon) and final assembly- Responsible for Quality / Cost / Delay targets.- Management of Product / Process convergence: For study phase: o 3D computer-aided validation of all doors assembly steps. o Doors design optimisation for process efficiency = Process Driven. o Ensure design synergy with N-1 & N+1 vehicles for process optimization. For Industrialisation phase: o Management of product modifications (Product modification = Process modification) o Index control of stamped parts for assembly, considering internal BiW customers. o Validation of assembly conformity for driving-tests, durability-tests, crash-tests, etc.- Process starting - BiW conformity & quality achievement : o Security education for plant environment & risks prevention o In charge of assembly lines reception, mounting & starting-up. (8 lines) o Control of doors parts delivery and consumption (Doors = 370 parts + 650 links per vehicle). o Management of assembly lines tuning to reach body’s conformity. (geometry & aspect) o Closures production management for all tests & demonstrations vehicles. o Weekly report of objectives achievement to project and plant chiefs o Management of manufacturing’s ramp-up to reach mass production target (1 BiW per minut)- Financial management of the perimeter (XX M€) : o In charge of all process items & services purchase listing. o Financial negociation with suppliers. (KUKA, SPIE, ABB, Renault Tooling) o Process reception. (Payment approvals) o Negociation of additionnal clauses.
