Undergraduate Researcher - Quantum Computing
CurrentAs an undergraduate researcher, I focus on furthering my understanding and gaining experience with quantum computing technology, emphasizing hardware design. Key responsibilities and projects include:Research & Development: Investigating the physics behind transmon qubits and quantum hardware architecture to enhance qubit performance.Technical Skills: Gaining hands-on experience in quantum hardware design, collaborating on constructing a Quantum Instrumentation Control Kit, and learning the techniques necessary for maintaining qubit coherence at ultra-low temperatures.Transmon Qubit Manufacturing: Design a transmon qubit circuit, prepare it for fabrication, and conduct experiments to assess performance and scalability.Collaborative Teamwork: Working in a multidisciplinary team, each focused on specialized topics within quantum computing, including non-Hermitian physics, 3D cavity design, and circuit design.
