This includes a strong focus on learning Local, State and Federal Special Education policies and procedures. I also place a lot of stock in teaching students the importance of writing effective social history reports "socials" (bio-psycho-socials). Of course, it needs to be written well; however, I strongly believe interview process is one of the most important interactions the school social worker has with parents/guardians.
