Subject Matter Expert:-Product Liability and Safety-Environmental-OSHA-EHS-Regulatory Compliance -UCC/commercial transactions (equipment and services)-Land Use/Zoning & Entitlements Legal Training:-Design training programs-Train Project Management organization regarding commercial transactions, claims’ management process, and regulatory compliance -Train contract managers and new lawyers -Train internal business clients regarding contract negotiation strategies Compliance Training:-Train Sales, Marketing, and Engineering organizations General Commercial Responsibilities: -Support Engineering, Marketing, and Sales organizations-Lead lawyer and key expert for RNA EHS organization-Support Technology Practice Group on new initiatives, including pilot projects-Negotiate and draft equipment supply and related long term service contracts-Negotiate claims-Draft and negotiate settlement agreements-Hire and directly manage outside counsel-Draft and negotiate NDAs-Support and collaborate with Risk Management organization regarding commercial matters, including litigation and arbitration -Support and collaborate with global legal colleagues regarding product safety and product liability, litigation, and arbitration -Support and directly advise Marketing organization-Collaborate with Customs and Export Control organizations Litigation and Arbitration Support: -Support Litigation group with litigation and arbitration matters-Directly manage outside counsel and technical expertsPrincipal Legal Advisor regarding Product Liability and Safety:-Collaborate with and advise Global Product Liability and Safety, Engineering, and Marketing organizations Principal Legal Advisor for Real Estate organization:-Subject matter expert regarding environmental matters-Hire and directly manage outside legal and technical experts -Directly advise operational site teams-Revise purchase and sale and lease agreements Principal Legal Advisor for EHS organization: -OSHA advice-OSHA compliance
