Elution Technologies was sold to 3M Corporation in 2017. Elution kits have the same great quality as they had before without any major changes to the kits except the packaging. Elution Technologies provides allergen test kits to food manufacturers for their Allergen Quality Control programs. These methods are in two forms, rapid 5min format, to be used for real time qualitative on site analysis and requires no equipment or formal training to run and can detect the allergen protein down to about 1ppm. The other method is a Quantitative ELISA based method and is designed to be run in a well equipped laboratory.

Bia (the Irish word for food) has moved into our new state of the art Laboratory in Colchester, VT. We will now be running GMO testing on various ingredients and finished products. Bia is an ISO17025 and AOAC Certified.Bia is a food testing laboratory doing much of the gluten "free" testing in N. America today. Bia also develops and validates testing methods for food allergens and label verification. Bia is an active member of AOAC, IAFP, AACC, IFT, and the Prolamine Working Group and does extensive research in method development and analysis of food allergens. Bia provides labeling verification for many of the leading food manufacturers for their Quality Control programs. Bia also collaborates with various regulatory agencies on food allergen related issues including method development. Bia Diagnostics is a socially responsible company. In 2010 Bia donated time, energy, money and resources to several local and international not-for-profits, including Women Helping Battered Women, The Town of Fairfax, Vermont’s Recreation Fund, The Celiac Sprue Foundation, and Amnesty International, totaling over 400 hours and more than 20% of our profits, and we continue to do that today.
