I'm a Team Lead for the Release and Change Management Team. I develop and administrate the processes and automation for Source and Release Management, including source version control applications, build and deployment automation, environment management, and consult on change management processes and administration. I am a Azure DevOps Administrator. I also support audit evidence collection and compliance, and ITIL software administration. I am a member of the company's Architectural Review Board and Change Management Board. I participate in both strategic project initiatives/development along with operational support to achieve the company's strategic vision.

I started as a Senior COBOL and DB2 developer in support of Y2K remediation, but subsequently became a Software Release Engineer when the company began developing desktop and web based server applications. I created the initial architecture and process methodologies/automation for source version control management and build and release automation. I create a custom release management tracking web application based on Microsoft .NET and SQL Server platforms to provide administration and reporting of source and release management activities. I became Team Lead, overseeing a team of 3 on-shore Release Engineers increasing to include several off-shore counterparts to provide 24 hour support for the development group. I led the Change Management Board in weekly reviews of requested production changes. I consulted on many strategic development projects to provide source and release management architectures for the resulting applications.

I was predominantly a COBOL, DB2, and CICS developer supporting both Individual Life and later Annuity / Retirement batch applications. In addition to daily changes and administration of applications, I provided on-call support as well. I was selected to participate on several project development teams to create a new Application intake system based on CASE technology, and served as a local database administrator and developer in developing a client account management system, designing ERD diagrams and implementing the same to create this new system.
