During my time at the US consulate General in Sydney I was able to hone skills and practice my degree in real time. Contributing to the US mission in Australia, my role entailed the day to day operations of a Consulate General as well as the organization of VIP events. Highlights of my time here include the opportunity to strengthen Australian and US strategic objectives in relation to the AUKUS agreement. This was achieved by contributing to the organisation and subsequent attendance of events with high-ranking officials, the objective of which is strengthening international relationships and cooperation.

I graduated from The Royal Australian Naval College as a Commissioned Officer in the Royal Australian Navy, where I underwent comprehensive training focused on developing key skills required for a military officer. This training encompassed various aspects of professional development, including team leadership, teamwork, discipline, and time management.One notable experience during my time in the Navy was serving as an officer on the leadership team for Australia's largest international maritime exercise, Exercise Kakadu 2022. In this role, I was responsible for organising and delivering the logistical requirements, as well as assisting in the coordination of the supply chains for 15 vessels from 20 different countries. This experience provided me with valuable opportunities to enhance my international relations skills through regular interactions with numerous foreign militaries.My life in the forces further developed my understanding of global affairs and fostered collaboration and cooperation among participating nations. It gave me insights into the complexities of multinational operations, communication across cultural boundaries, and the importance of diplomacy and strategic decision-making in a diverse and dynamic environment.
