I am currently a university student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts dual degree with an extended major in International Relations and minor in Criminology at the University of Queensland. My primary goal is to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to undertake a career in this field.Prior to pursuing my studies, I served as a commissioned officer in the Royal Australian Navy. Through my military service, I gained a deep understanding of teamwork, leadership, and effective communication in high-pressure situations, which included Operation Kakadu 2022.In my current academic program, I am focusing on various aspects of global affairs, including diplomacy, conflict resolution, and peacebuilding. I am developing a comprehensive understanding of the complexities and challenges that nations face in today's interconnected world. By delving into subjects such as international law, human rights, and regional studies, I am gaining the necessary knowledge to analyse and address complex issues in a global context.To complement my academic pursuits, I am actively seeking opportunities to engage with relevant organisations, internships, and research projects. These experiences will enable me to apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios, further honing my problem-solving and analytical skills.
