As Head of Bank of Ireland Leveraged Acquisition Finance in Germany, Thomas leads a team of leveraged finance specialists at the bank’s Frankfurt office. He has proven track record of originating and assessing complex transactions as well as strong deal execution and portfolio management expertise in a broad range of industries and geographies. Thomas has significant transactional experience with middle market and large multi-national corporations across all sectors on a pan-European basis – with particular focus on Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Thomas’ team manages the bank’s relationships and provides corporate banking solutions to private equity house customers across the German buyout mid-market. His team is involved in some of the most significant mid-market transactions across European buyouts landscape. A graduate of accounting, finance, economics and banking form the University of Hanover, Thomas is skilled in underwriting, credit analysis and leadership. A keen handball player and coach, he is also interested in triathlon.
