- Research assistant in a breast cancer immunology lab under primary investigator Elizabeth Mittendorf- Summer 2022: Managed slide digitization for a research project on indicators of pathologic complete responses for triple-negative breast cancer. Collaborated weekly with an artificial intelligence company to apply AI algorithms to tumor biopsy scans to predict total cancer-free responses in patients.- Summer 2023: Collaborated with a software engineering team to build a data warehouse for the storage of patient information of multiple clinical trials. Co-author of a research poster presented at the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology 2024 conference in Baltimore, Maryland. • Led streamlining effort for lab procedure of receiving patient specimens, organized associated patient information, and digitizing microscope slides for assessment. Significantly improved process efficiency and the organization of patient information.

Assists in a clinical research study for music and rhythm-based interventions for patients with Corticobasal Syndrome. Work experience includes setting up and operating TDS brain stimulation technology and helping patients through a series of evaluation questions and physical tests during which they received musical therapy. The study is performed under Dr.s Kyurim Kang and Alex Pantelyat.
