Responsibilities at National Express included creating safety policies/procedures and leading the safety and training efforts for the North American transit operations and school bus operations in Canada. Managed a group of thirteen safety managers, conducted company-wide safety audits and created new training programs. Developed and implemented a MAP-21 Safety Management Systems Plan and Injury and Illness Prevention Plan that was used to lead our safety processes across the transit division.
