About Thomas Haas

Thomas began his career in the broadcast industry as a freelance cameraman for BBC Sport, ITV, Sky TV and Channel 4 in 2002. He created the UK’s first commercial, online TV station for the City of Portsmouth in 2009. A year later in 2010 he established an online TV station for Portsmouth Football Club (English Premier League). During this time he also became media partner for the Kings Theatre in Portsmouth, which included livestreaming the Children in Need event, producing the Harry & Jim show (Harry Redknapp & Jim Smith) for Portsmouth Football Club fans and creating theatrical workshops.In 2011 Thomas produced a mini documentary series ‘Road to London 2012’ for the BBC in the run up to the Olympic Games 2012. He has also covered BBC sport press conferences and the pre and post match interviews with Premiership footballers.In 2013 he launched Studio Kerkyra in Corfu, hosting and livestreaming the interactive chat shows Nightshift, Out & About, Lockdown (during covid restrictions), Unlocked, Corfuholics, Agree To Disagree and Interactive SK. He also livestreamed a complete sight reading of Homer The Odyssey which ran for 16 and a half hours.Studio Kerkyra is well equipped to meet your pre-production, production and post productions needs.
