I am a Partner specialising in commercial real estate. I provide advice on all non-contentious real estate issues, including retail and industrial development and investment, but with particular specialism in largescale greenfield developments and especially strategic land and development. I have been described in Legal 500 as a lawyer who "gets things done and routinely offers innovative commercial solutions".I have particular experience in advising on the legal aspects of taking sites through the development process, from site assembly (option agreements and planning promotion agreements), through site development and final disposals (to investors, occupiers and developers). In the past 12 months I have advised on sales of strategic land for over £100m+ and for the construction of over 10,000 new homes.I have also advised on Enterprise Zone transactions and on development funding and finance deals for complex (often tax-driven) transactions. I have considerable experience of large scale investment, development and property finance transactions for large institutional clients. My clients cover a number of sectors including public and private companies, retailers, developers, investors, financial institutions and local authorities.
