* Supervising, managing and representing clients in state and federal courts through all stages of commercial litigation with a focus on commercial real estate backed debt and troubled mortgage loans, including but not limited to loan modifications, workouts, strategic restructurings, bankruptcies, foreclosures, deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure, pendente lite foreclosures, and post-foreclosure proceedings. *Drafting and negotiating complex legal documents, including but not limited to purchase and sale agreements, letters of intent, loan and/or commercial lease documents, credit facilities, Debtor-in-Possession financing, mortgages, security instruments, guaranties, deeds, easements, use & occupancy agreements, non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, non-judicial loan/lease restructurings and modifications, workout agreements, forbearance agreements, and appropriate assignment documentation.*Providing legal support for clients with respect to acquisition, disposition and maintenance of client assets, including but not limited to negotiating purchase and sale agreements and conducting due diligence. *Represent or serve as state court appointed Receiver in several high-profile Ponzi scheme matters brought by the New Jersey Bureau of Securities where principal responsibilities included, but were not limited to investigating alleged non-compliance with state securities law and develop strategy for recovery of funds owed to defrauded investors and creditors; forensic review of corporate records, bank account statements, and documents to locate, retrieve and liquidate secreted assets nationwide; establish and facilitate claims submission and review process, including review of corporate records and documents to establish claim validity and resolution of disputed claims; establishment of procedures for acquisition and disposition of real and personal assets.*Spearheaded team of internal professionals, including but not limited to information technology department, and outside consultants in firmwide risk assessment in order to suggest and develop broader application of technology to increase efficiency and security of client data, and then review, revise, implement, train, maintain and continuously improve the firm’s information management system by adopting security protocols and data privacy procedures in order to satisfy required compliance goals and achieve firmwide certification under the ISO 27001 standard, the most widely adopted information security standard in the world and the highest level of security-related accreditation.
