From quality engineer, to engineering, program, and product management I have been involved in automotive Telematics product development and launch. I acted as a change agent as a commercial electronics company entered the automotive arena. Have been responsible for, or assisted in the development and launch of, nine (9) Telematics products and their variants. Managed a worldwide team with engineering and manufacturing both in the United States and in low cost areas, removing barriers, and meeting both schedule and budget. Developed processes and lead the organization in reducing warranty costs by 85%, and increased profitability by analyzing and improving the product processing within the organization. Worked in a very demanding industry and improved, and then maintained, significant profitability. I have lead organizations from as few as two persons to as many as one-hundred-forty.
