Deliveroo is an online food delivery company that has operations spread across eighty-four cities in the UK, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Belgium, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Australia, Singapore, Dubai and Hong Kong. I supported the Operations department as an Operations Associate, overseeing the live performance of various subsets within the UK and Ireland.Key responsibilities:- Contributing and impacting upon one of the world's fastest growing startups- Eliminate the opportunity for substandard performance and combatting issues before they arise during the live order life-cycle- Overseeing day-to-day processes of order and rider management- Ensuring a positive impact on customer experience and overall performance- Liaise with riders and restaurants to create a smooth and successful delivery of all orders- Work collaboratively with other members of the Live Operations team and ensure good operational performance- Ad hoc tasks

In this role, I worked closely with editorial teams such as NW magazine, Women's fitness magazine and various other titles whilst supporting the picture desk with day-to-day duties of researching, purchasing and selecting images for the specific titles.The primary responsibilities of the position include:● Obtaining publicity photos, stock house photography, andcollaborating with editorial to chose suitable images.● Handle the tasks of conducting research, editing and presenting● photographs that sat with the quality and requirements of textualcontent provided through a brief.● Perform negotiation of the fees for photos utilized as well as obtaindocumentation rights and copyright permissions● Responsible for maintaining proper records and archives ofphotographs● Responsible for photo research, image cropping and photo editingvarious titles in Bauer including NW, Women's fitness, AustralianWoman's weekly, Men’s style.● Organized catering, off site locations and seek approval from councilsand organizations for photo shoots.

As a digital magazine producer, the role was a fast paced role with great responsibilities and outputting high quality content onto iPads/tablets. The small team consisted of 3 at a time and we all work together to provide support to the editorial teams and to the public. In my time in this role I had taken a senior role in the last 6 months I worked in this role, this was a great responsibility and I was the first point of contact from the public, managers and editorial teams. The primary responsibilities of the position include:● Creating pdf versions of various (up to 32) magazines and double Checking all content was correct on a day-to-day basis.● Creating and implementing schedules in excel and implementing them within the team.● Sending magazine to overseas companies in a timely manner before sale● Being a point of contact for managers, editorial teams and the public.● Updating cost and creating future issues in both Apple and Google.● Creating training manuals and process guides for fellow employees.● Testing the usability of new apps and magazines before launch.

In September 2011 I was moved to the E-Assist team. In this role I support the remote monitoring of our customer’s machine who has signed up for the E- Assist service. I place orders, request approvals and respond to both internal staff and external customer emails. This role requires high levels of attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines each day.
