As the Event Coordinator for the Student Government Association (SGA), I managed a committee, delegating tasks to ensure efficient event planning and execution. I organized and oversaw all logistics for campus events, including reserving spaces, securing equipment, and recruiting talent for performance-based events. In collaboration with academic departments and university staff, such as the Dean of Students and the Director of Diversity and Inclusion, I worked to bridge the gap between students and administration, bringing ideas to fruition. Additionally, I created and distributed sign-up sheets to engage participants and ensure adequate event support.

I worked closely with staff to design menus and create promotional materials, leveraging video production and social media to boost student engagement. I actively participated in special events to promote services and foster a positive team atmosphere, while effectively communicating business ideas to consumers in a practical and exciting way.

As a Corporate Communications Intern at Republic Airways, I gained hands-on experience in marketing, recruiting, and external communications. I conducted competitor analysis to assess the competitiveness of Republic’s marketing efforts and Direct Entry Captain Sign-On bonuses. I created graphics and wrote copy for social media posts, interviewed pilots for blogs published on Republic-owned media, and audited social media accounts like LinkedIn and Instagram to suggest improvements in multimedia content. Additionally, I worked with tools like SharePoint, Outlook Calendar, and Teams, and collaborated with a third-party marketing firm (MKR) to enhance Republic’s brand representation.
