Completing legal aid applications and other LSC application forms such as prior authority to instruct experts. Attend conferences with Counsel. Fully accredited police station representative providing advice and assistance to clients in relation to a range of allegations from fraud to serious assaults. Proficient in billing Magistrates' Court and Crown Court files as well as specialist billing for defence cost orders and cases where the advocate is appointed by the Court pursuant to s.36 of the Youth Justice and Criminal Evidence Act 1999.Identifying issues with cases which require action to generate a higher margin of profitability for the firm.
