Thomas Harrison is an Aboriginal man descendent of the Yorta Yorta and Dja Dja Wurrung peoples. Thomas has spent a number of years working with the Aboriginal community. Thomas has overseen many youth projects over time to include mentoring and cultural development programs to include youth camps and community cultural group and leader of the Mullum Mullum Cultural Dance Group.Thomas has a number of years of project and event management experience in both community and government settings with a strong ability to establish and build strong partnerships. Thomas has experience in the development and delivery of Cross Cultural Development Training across a range of settings. In recent times Thomas oversaw the Eastern Indigenous Men's network, Brutha's Day out project which allowed engagement with local men and Indigenous men in surround locations and most recently has been a leader in the Indigenous Family Violence space.Thomas is an experienced cultural mentor working with pre-school children right through to cultural competency training across mainstream agencies.Thomas leads the Dardee Balagamdail Aboriginal Dance Group and is the lead faciliator of the Yalka Dayan Cultural Educational Program.
