About Thomas Hartwig

I am a biologist, with expertise in genetics, genomics, and large-scale data analysis. My research intergrades state-of-the-art sequencing technologies with novel genomic approaches, to identify genome editing targets. Our platform allows pinpointing causative regulatory variants, associated with traits, at single base-pair resolution. Currently, our research group at Max Planck Institute, develops a high-throughput method to accurately quantify the effects of multiplexed genome editing on gene expression.
