I have worked in a very diverse market structure. As Chief Mechanical Engineer, I was responsible for the review of commissioning services as well as LEED submittals, provided by consultants on all our LEED projects. Additionally, I have provided commissioning services for all of our non-LEED, industrial type projects in the food processing and light industrial markets that we served. I became AEE certified (CBCP) in an effort to establish commissioning services for the public sector within this organization. In addition to HVAC systems, these projects included process exhaust and make up air, chilled water, high pressure steam, high pressure hot water, high purity steam and water systems, compressed air, vacuum, dust collection, industrial refrigeration and clean manufacturing spaces, among others. I worked closely with our process engineering group to provide utility infrastructure to support the manufacturing process.I have performed in numerous positions, both with my present employer, as well as with former employers. This is what I consider to be a second major strength. That is, flexibility. I have been willing to pick up on any assignment offered in order to fill the needs of the organization. I am a team player. Although I prefer engineering assignments, I have had significant long term financial responsibilities, P&L and project management at both the project level and division level.I have on a many occasions overcome difficult field problems that have helped the firm avoid potential additional construction cost claims.Specialties: My strengths are substantial multi-discipline project management, resulting in significant experience in the areas of HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Protection, Structural and Electrical design, as well as substantial energy conservation and analysis. I am a Certified Energy Manager. I have acquired detailed working knowledge of these disciplines as well as relevant codes.
