About Thomas Hedglen

I have over thirty years experience in construction and maintenance, and I have worked in all phases of building construction. I have done remodeling, repair, and demolition, and I have owned my own maintenance business. I am familiar with HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems. I am an aggressive worker, and I complete my duties in an honorable way. I take the initiative to improve the efficiency and enhance the performance of any area I work in. I routinely achieve above average ratings on my performance evaluations, and employers have found that they can trust me with high levels of responsibility. I am industrious and efficient. I do not require close supervision. The aspect of my current position that I most enjoy is the contact I have with the community. As Building Manager, my role is to ensure that groups utilizing our facility are comfortable and equipped for their event by preparing the set-ups and maintaining building functions during the events. I welcome our visitors when they arrive and assist with their needs during their event. In between events, I am responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining the building systems and communicating with contractors. I also manage the overall condition of the building, inside and out.
