Franklinton Rising (FR) is a non profit 501(c)3 corporation operating in the Franklinton neighborhood of Columbus Ohio.FR purchases and remodels houses. Simultaneously we attract young adults, residents from the neighborhood who are interested in careers in the building trades. We provide accredited class training in job skills, also life skills, a Christian perspective of life and purpose, mentoring, and OJT as we remodel houses. As a consequence we offer affordable, safe, modern, and marketable homes to these individuals as they progress in life and job skills, obtain employment and are demonstrating responsibility. These men and women, residents of Franklinton are learning the ways of the ultimate carpenter!
